Örebro municipality is continuing to adapt Östra Bangatan for Citylinjen.
The work will start in February and will affect traffic flow on Östra Bangatan from Vasagatan to the intersection at Östra Nobelgatan.
The reconstruction means that all regional buses and city buses line 5, 6 and 22, will be diverted from February 6. Regional traffic will be diverted, which means that no regional routes will operate at Resecentrum. New temporary stops for northbound regional traffic are located on Järnvägsgatan, Norrcity. City routes 5, 6 and 22 will have a temporary stop at Fredsgatan. The temporary stops will be visible in Länstrafiken's app and on our website from February 6.
A general map of the diversions will be available on physical signs at the Resecentrum and Slottet. The map is also available both as signs and on digital screens at the relevant bus stops.
The routes have been designed to allow public transport to operate despite the reconstruction. For example, the distances between regional and city buses cannot be too long as there are many changes between these buses. The bus rerouting plan includes travel options to both the southern and northern parts of the city center as far as physically possible.
City traffic is maintained at Resecentrum during the construction period because many changes between city traffic and trains take place there. However, regional buses will be completely rerouted and have different routes.
