Askersund
Historic Askersund is a walk in the charming harbour town by Lake Vättern. The focus is often on the town’s maritime history, its narrow alleys and well-preserved wooden buildings.
Hälsans stig* is 4 km long and follows pleasant walking paths along the waterfront, passing Strandpromenaden, Borgmästareholmen, Sjöängen, Insikt–Utsikt, Hagabadet, Askersund Local Heritage Centre and Solberga Sports Ground.

Degerfors
Kulturcentrum Berget is a walk through a well-preserved area with workers’ housing from the 19th century. There are small shops and local craftspeople, and the area works as a living museum of industrial history.

Fjugesta

Hallsberg
Kulturslingan is a walk about one of Sweden’s main railway hubs, focusing on the station area and the role of the railway in the town’s development.
Bergööska house is not a traditional walk, but the area around Bergööska house (the childhood home of Karin, wife of Carl Larsson) is an important historical walking area in central Hallsberg.
Hälsans stig* in Hallsberg is more of a walk close to the town and is about 4.2 km long. It runs through EKO Park.

Örebro Castle offers several types of walks, from classic historical tours about the castle’s role as a fortress and royal residence to exciting ghost walks for the brave.
Hälsans stig* can easily be started in Henry Allard Park. It is a 3.6 km loop that goes via Stora Holmen and Wadköping and back through the city park. It takes you past many of the main sights in the city centre.
