If you’re using a standard bicycle or another type that isn’t allowed on board, there are often bicycle racks or cycle shelters available near our stops.

Bicycle on board

You can bring the following on all our buses:

  • a folding scooter
  • a folding e-scooter
  • a children's balance bike
  • a folding bicycle

The bicycle must be no longer than 120 cm when folded. It is free of charge, subject to available space.

Standard bicycles, non-folding bicycles, non-folding scooters and non-folding e-bikes are not allowed on any of our buses.

Bicycle on trains

If you would like to take a bicycle on a train, we recommend contacting the train operator you plan to travel with. Rules for taking bicycles on board vary between operators.

E-scooter

Rental e-scooters are not allowed on the bus, as they cannot be secured safely.

You can bring your e-scooter on all our buses, but there are a few rules to follow:

  • The e-scooter must be no longer than 120 cm when folded.
  • You must be able to carry and handle it yourself when getting on and off the bus.
  • The e-scooter may be placed on the floor in front of you, but it must not block the aisle.
  • If you are sitting in the back row, you may also place the e-scooter on the floor behind your feet.

The e-scooter must not be left loose on the floor or extend beyond your seating area. For your own safety, you must not stand on or ride the e-scooter while the bus is moving.

  • Bicycles on regional buses

    You can take the following on all our buses within the county:

    • scooter that can be folded
    • electric scooter that can be folded
    • children's bicycle without a chain
    • conventional two-wheeled bicycle that can be folded

    It is free and subject to availability. The bicycle must not exceed 120 cm in length when folded. It is free of charge and subject to available space.

    It is not permitted to bring a conventional two-wheeled bicycle or a non-foldable bicycle, scooter or electric bicycle on regional and express buses.

  • Bicycles on city bus and Citylinjen

    You may bring the following on our city buses and Citylinjen:

    • foldable scooter
    • foldable electric scooter
    • children's bicycle without a chain
    • foldable bicycle

    The bicycle must not exceed 120 cm in length when folded. It is free of charge and subject to available space.

    It is not permitted to bring a conventional two-wheeled bicycle or a non-foldable bicycle, scooter or electric bicycle on city buses and Citylinjen.

  • Electric scooters

    You can take your electric scooter with you on all our buses, but there are things you need to keep in mind:

    • The electric scooter may be a maximum of 120 centimeters in the folded position
    • You must be able to handle it yourself when boarding and disembarking
    • The electric scooter may be placed on the floor in front of you, but not so that it protrudes into the aisle
    • If you sit at the back, you can also put the electric scooter on the floor behind your feet.

    The electric scooter must not lie loosely on the floor, or protrude from the place where you are sitting. For your own safety, you must not stand on the electric scooter when the bus is in motion.
