On the bus
What you can buy on board depends on which of our buses you want to travel with.
We would like you to, if possible, pre-sell your ticket or recharge your Travel card before boarding the bus. This is to reduce the time it takes for the bus at each stop and thus minimize the risk of delays.
Pre-purchasing single tickets or using travel credit is always cheaper than buying tickets on board with a payment card.
You can use travel credit in several ways onboard. You can:
- Buy single tickets from the driver on all our city, regional, and express buses.
- Buy single tickets and 24-hour tickets via the ticket readers inside city buses in Örebro and Citylinjen.
- Partially pay for a 24-hour, 30-day, or 30-day off-peak ticket on a city bus in Lindesberg and all our regional and express buses.
If you're travelling with a Travel card dedicated to a company, you should purchase tickets in the same way as with travel credit.
Keep the Travel card you used to purchase the ticket throughout your journey, as you may need to show it during a ticket inspection.

Borrowing costs money!
If you choose to make purchases using a credit card, it may pose a risk to you if you are unable to pay off your credit or invoice later.
If you fail to repay your debt on time, you risk receiving a payment default, which could make it difficult to rent a home, sign contracts for services, or obtain new loans. For support, contact the budget and debt counselling service in your municipality. Contact details can be found on the Swedish Consumer Agency's (Konsumentverket) website.
