Ånnaboda
In Ånnaboda you can swim at one of Örebro County’s most popular swimming spot and enjoy the surrounding nature. The area has several barbecue areas that are perfect for picnics and socialising. There is camping, cabins or a hotel for those who wish to stay overnight. You can rent a mountain bike, fish in the lake with a valid fishing permit, or explore the hiking trails in the surrounding nature.
For a more relaxed activity, there is an asphalt walking path of approximately 2.5 kilometres around Lake Ånnaboda.

Lögardammen
The swimming spot is located in Latorp and consists of an artificial pond with a beach. Facilities include a diving tower, swimming platforms, wheelchair access ramp, changing cabins and toilets.

Karlslund kulturreservat
Karlslund is a popular visitor destination just five kilometres from central Örebro and a summer outing suitable for the whole family. Here you will find beautiful scenery, historic buildings and a welcoming park along the Svartån river. You can swim at Tegelbadet, stroll through the park, and enjoy a picnic or use the barbecue spots. In the area you will find craft workshops, small shops, the Children’s Garden and the Technology Mill (Tekniska kvarnen), offering both play and learning experiences.

Hästhagen
Hästhagen in Örebro is a popular recreation area offering many opportunities for both activity and relaxation. There is a swimming spot called Bryggbadet, green spaces for picnics and environments perfect for both families and everyday outings. In the area, you can go canoeing or try SUP (stand-up paddleboarding), as well as play disc golf and minigolf. Equipment is available to rent when the kiosk is open. With its walking paths and open green areas, Hästhagen is an easily accessible destination for everyone.

Gustavsvik
Gustavsvik is a well-known destination with something for the whole family, both adults and children. Hjälmarbaden is a swimming spot located just outside Ekeby-Almby in Örebro. It is a convenient, city-close beach suitable for everyone. The distance from the bus stop to the beach is approximately 1.2 kilometres, offering a pleasant walk.

Hampetorps badplats
The swimming spot is located along the southern shore of Lake Hjälmaren, close to Hampetorp marina and a holiday village with a campsite and café. Facilities include swimming platsforms and toilets. There are also large grass area, barbecue area and a beach volleyball court.

Vinön
Vinön is known as the jewel of Lake Hjälmaren and is a popular visitor destination just outside Örebro. You reach the island by ferry from the Hampetorp färjeläger (ferry terminal). The island is known for peaceful nature, open landscapes and rich birdlife, with great opportunities for walking and swimming. During the season, visitors can enjoy cafés and restaurants, and many choose to bring a picnic to enjoy outdoors close to the water.
