Refunds are handled by our Customer Service. Here you will find the rules for the different tickets.

Refunds for unused 30-day tickets, 30-day off-peak tickets and travel credit

We can refund the full value of unused season tickets and unused Travel Credit (reskassa) within 7 days of buying the ticket. This applies to season tickets valid 30 days and 30 days off-peak.

This means that we do not repurchase season tickets with a time validity of Flex 10/40 or 24 hours.

If you would like to repurchase a travel voucher other than those listed here, please contact our Customer Service.

Refunds for partially used 30-day tickets, 30-day off-peak tickets and travel credit

If you have a 30-day ticket or a 30-day off-peak ticket, we can refund it as travel credit. To qualify, you must contact us within 7 days of purchase.

The amount refunded depends on how long the ticket has been valid.

Refunds are credited as travel credit as follows:

  • First day of validity: You get back 80 percent of the ticket price
  • Day two: 60 percent
  • Day three: 50 percent
  • Day four: 40 percent
  • Day five: 30 percent
  • Day six: 20 percent
  • Day seven: 10 percent
  • After day seven: No refund

Single ticket refunds

We do not offer refunds for single tickets or similar tickets.

24-hour and Flex 10/40 ticket refunds

We do not offer refunds for 24-hour tickets or Flex 10/40 tickets. These tickets are activated as soon as they are purchased and are treated in the same way as single tickets.

Refunds for travel card fees

If your Travel Card hasn't been used at all, we'll refund the card fee of SEK 30. For a Travel Card to be counted as unused the following applies:

  • no recorded journeys,
  • A season ticket should not have started
  • Travel Credit should be untouched

If a Travel Card is used, the card fee will not be refunded.

Refunds due to reduced service

We may make changes to routes and timetables when a new timetable comes into effect. If a change means that you can no longer use public transport, we may refund part of your ticket.

If a change made by us reduces your travel options, we may refund the part of your ticket that applies to the period after the change takes effect.

This applies to 30-day tickets, 30-day off-peak tickets and travel credit.

Refunds due to sick leave

If you are unable to travel due to being sick, you can get a refund for some of your season ticket. This also applies to similar situations than being sick.

We will refund the remaining part of the ticket price from the time you became sick. You will need to provide a written certificate of your sick leave or similar circumstances for us to process the refund.
