From 15 June to 16 August, you can travel with the Sommarbussen - Route 890 (The summer bus). The bus runs between Ånnaboda, central Örebro, Gustavsvik, and continues to Hampetorp. In Hampetorp, you can take the ferry to Vinön.

Places to visit along the route

During summer, the Sommarbussen makes it easy to visit popular places in Örebro County. You can travel to places for outdoor activities, hiking, swimming, culture and events, and to explore Vinön. The bus is perfect for both spontaneous day journeys and planned adventures.

The Sommarbussen stops at many popular places, such as Ånnaboda, Karlslund, Hästhagen and Gustavsvik. It also stops near central Örebro, where you can visit Örebro Castle, the OpenArt exhibition and Stora Holmen. It also takes you close to central Örebro, where you will find the Örebro Castle, the OpenArt exhibition, and Stora Holmen. You can also easily reach Conventum and Behrn Arena. Furthermore, the bus stops at the Hjälmarbaden and Hampetorp swimming spots. From Hampetorp, it’s easy to catch the ferry to Vinön – the jewel of Lake Hjälmaren.

The timetable for Route 890 is planned to match the ferry to and from Vinön. This makes changing between bus and ferry easy. Route 890 has 7–9 departures per day, depending on the day of the week.

Tickets

Good to know about our tickets:

  • As an adult, you can travel with two children (up to 7 years) for free.
  • Some regional buses have rear-facing child seats for small children.
  • We offer a great value 24-hour ticket, perfect if you know you'll be travelling to and from a destination within the same day.
  • For those aged 7–19, it is especially good value to travel with the
  • Summer Pass in the county. You pay 200 SEK to travel all summer, throughout the entire county.
  • Choose the family price to get a better price when many of you are travelling together.

The same terms of travel and ticket prices apply to the Sommarbussen as to all other regional busses.

Bus stops at the Resecentrum

(travel center)

Route 890 is marked “Sommarbussen” and shows either the direction towards Hampetorp or towards Ånnaboda.

At the Resecentrum, the bus uses two stops:

Towards Hampetorp: stop N
Towards Ånnaboda: stop C

Borrow a folding bike

This summer, you can borrow a folding bike from us and take it with you on the bus. This is useful if you want to travel further from the ferry stop on Vinön or move around in Örebro.
