In December 2026, the industrial areas in western Örebro will gain a new bus route from the Örebro Travel Centre. At the same time, Route 404—which connects Karlskoga and Hällefors and was discontinued in 2025—will be reinstated.
New route to facilitate commuting
The new route to western Örebro will operate every 40 minutes during peak hours, making it easier to commute to workplaces in the Pilängen area. Approximately 5,500 people currently work there, and around 2,000 new jobs are expected to be created in the coming years.
Route 404 between Karlskoga and Hällefors returns
Route 404 will resume service with the same route number, path, and stops as before. Schedules will be aligned as closely as possible with shift times at Loka Brunn.
