On August 17, 13 brand-new electric buses will enter service on Citylinjen, as well as routes 1 and 2 in Örebro. Supplied by Volvo, the buses feature Citylinjen’s distinctive green livery.
More buses to come before winter
During the autumn, Citylinjen will be bolstered by ten additional electric buses. At the same time, the electrification of the rest of the city’s bus network continues, with another 19 electric buses entering service over the course of the year.
Greener urban environment
These new electric buses provide Örebro with quieter, more modern, and more sustainable public transport. Electrification contributes to reduced noise levels, lower emissions, and a more attractive urban environment for both passengers and residents.
