On 13 December, bus travel in western Örebro will improve. The new city route 8 will start running between Bista and Pilängen. At the same time, route 620 will get a new route through Berglunda. Route 600 will also run through Berglunda during evenings and weekends. These changes will make it easier to travel to workplaces, schools and other destinations in the area.
New bus route serving more workplaces
Route 8 will run between Örebro University Hospital (USÖ) and Bista-Pilängen. Four new bus stops will bring passengers closer to many workplaces than today:
- Pilängsgatan
- Dumpergatan
- Vältgatan
- Södra skogen
This will reduce walking distances for people who work or study in the area.
Service throughout the working day
Route 8 will operate on weekdays with 24 journeys in each direction. Buses will run from early morning until late evening, between 05:40 and 23:55. The timetable has been designed to suit people working in the area.
More bus connections for Berglunda
Route 620 and route 600 during evenings and weekends will run through the area. This will make it easier to travel to and from Berglunda. Buses will stop at Berglunda företagsby and Berglunda, among other stops.
For people travelling between Örebro, Berglunda, Lanna and Fjugesta, there will be more opportunities to travel by bus to work and other activities.
Plan your journey in November
