Updated regulations for färdtjänst
From 1 February 2026, we will update the regulations for färdtjänst in Örebro län. The new rules have been decided by Regionfullmäktige. The changes concern companion (ledsagare), pets and rules about bringing your children on a trip, among other things.
The regulations for sjukresor will not be affected by the changes in färdtjänstens regulations.

Changed fees for färdtjänst and sjukresor
1 February the fees for färdtjänst and sjukresor will be changed.
Sjukresor
If you have a permit for sjukresor you will pay 170 SEK for a sjukresa with a special vehicle, no matter how far the trip is. The high-cost cover will be rised too. The previous high-cost cover was 2 215 SEK in a year. The new limit is 2 325SEK, which will be the highest cost you will be paying over a year.

Färdtjänst
If you have a permit for färdtjänst you will pay the same fee for sjukresa with special vehicle as for färdtjänst. The price depends on how long the trip is. Lowest price will be 55 SEK and highest 170 SEK.
If you are under 20 years old and have a permit for färdtjänst you will pay half a fee for your färdtjänst trips.
