If you plan to travel in June, July or August, you need to submit your application no later than five weeks before your desired departure. This is to ensure that you receive a decision before you wish to travel. This applies to both journeys using public transport with the help from a companion and journeys using special vehicles.
We are making this change to be able to manage all applications received during the summer, while at the same time prioritising Transport service applications (färdtjänst), which have long waiting times for assessment.
