If your journey extends over several routes and you need to change to another bus or train, you can in some cases travel with a Transfer Ticket, which makes the journey more economical for you.

For the ticket to be valid, the final journey must begin before the time specified on the single ticket from the first journey. What you do depends on which buses or trains you change between.

Transfer between buses and trains
  • Between regional buses

    When making a journey where you need to change from one regional bus to another, you must buy a ticket all the way to your final destination when you get on the first bus. This will make sure you get the best price.

  • From a regional bus to a city bus

    When you start your journey on a regional bus, an additional journey by city bus is automatically included if there is a city bus connection where you get off the regional bus. The maximum transfer time to the city bus varies depending on how far you are travelling by regional bus.

  • From a city bus to a regional bus

    Show your ticket from the city bus to the bus driver of the regional bus and you will be given a discount on your single fare on the regional bus.

  • From a city bus to a city bus

    On a city bus, a single ticket gives you unlimited travel for three hours within Örebro, Lindesberg and Karlskoga. In Karlskoga you have unlimited travel for three hours in the whole of the municipality of Karlskoga. This also applies for routes 10, 780 and 781. Keep your ticket and show it every time you get on a bus.

  • From a city bus to a train

    On the city bus, tell the driver you want to buy a ticket all the way to your final destination. To be able to use the ticket on the train, you must have it loaded as an electronic ticket onto a Travel Card. The driver on the city bus can help you with this

  • From a train to a city bus

    When you start your journey on a train, an additional journey by city bus can be automatically included if there is a city bus connection where you get off the train. The maximum transfer time varies depending on how far you are travelling by train.

    For transfers using a paper ticket, show the ticket to the driver when boarding the next bus. For transfers using an electronic ticket, touch in with the Travel Card at the ticket reader.

  • From a regional bus to a train

    In order to travel by train after travelling by regional bus, you must pay for the entire journey, including the train part, when boarding the bus. The ticket has to be loaded as an electronic ticket on the Travel Card. The transfer to train must begin before the time specified on the ticket and you must register the train journey at the validator on the platform.

  • From a train to a regional bus

    Transfers from train to regional bus are not possible. You must buy a new ticket on the regional bus without a transfer discount.

  • Travelling across the county border by regional bus

    Transfers from one of our regional buses to another county transport company are generally not possible on the same ticket. You must buy a new ticket from the county transport company.
