City Busses - Cash Ticket
City busses are available in Örebro, Karlskoga, Lindesberg and Kumla. A ride on a city bus costs a flat rate no matter how far you travel within each city. Except in Lindesberg, three hours of free transfers are included in the regular ticket. If you need three hours in Lindesberg, you should buy a shopping ticket that costs kr 20. The fares differ somewhat from town to town.

Fare-free travel discontinued as of 21 April 2006. After 7:00 PM you can neither purchase cash tickets nor add money to your bus card onboard busses in Örebro. To ride the bus after this hour you must use a prepaid bus card or a ticket obtained after 7:00 PM from the Pressbyrå on Järntorget or at Drottninggatan 14, or at any of the more than 38 ticket dispensers found at various locations throughtout Örebro. Night fare (after midnight) is kr 20 for all ages in Örebro.
Up to two children travel free of charge (through the date of your 7th birthdays) when accompanied by a paying passenger who is at least 12. Youth fare is charged through the date of a young person`s nineteenth birthday. All others pay the adult fare.
A family ticket is valid for no more than five people of whom one or two must be either parents or guardians and the others youth or children according to the rules above. All the passengers must belong to the same family. Family tickets are not valid for night service.
